Adjust Your Resizable Rings
HOW TO ADJUST YOUR RESIZABLE RINGS
At Perimade, we offer some of adjustable rings that can easily be resized. By following our detailed instructions, you will be able to resize your ring correctly and avoid damaging to your pieces.
We always recommend that you should adjust your ring only once to fit your desired finger. The reason is that if the ring is reshaped multiple times, it will weaken the overall structured and ultimately end up breaking.
TO MAKE THE RING LARGER
Step 1: Using both hands, have a good grip on both sides of the band.
Step 2: Slowly and gently pull outwards by a small margin.
Step 3: Simultaneously, use your thumbs to lightly apply pressure at the top of the ring to maintain the ring’s round shape.
Step 4: Test the ring on your desired finger. Repeat the process until the ring is adjusted and fits the point of comfort.
TO MAKE THE RING SMALLER
Step 1: Put the ring onto your desired finger.
Step 2: Using your index finger and thumb, slowly and gently squeeze the band inward by a small margin.
Step 3: Simultaneously use your thumbs to lightly apply pressure at the top of the ring to maintain the ring’s round shape.
Step 4: Repeat the process until the ring is adjusted and fits the point of comfort.
READJUSTING YOUR RING
Adjustments should only be done in small increments. Do not pull the ring directly outward as this causes fatigue. Once the ring has been adjusted, we recommend that you do not readjust the ring as this should only be done once.
REMOVING YOUR RING
When you need to remove the ring, slowly twist the ring upward to get it off your finger. To put the ring back on, slowly twist the ring down your finger in a gentle motion. Do not resize the ring as a method of removing or putting the ring on because this will weaken the band, causing irreversible damage such as gems falling out or complete breakage of the band.
